HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING IN OUR COMMUNITY!

April Member of the Month: Janice Greenhalgh

At Triumph Strength, we talk a lot about community. About showing up. About being the kind of person that makes others better just by being in the room. And if there’s one person who embodies all of that it’s Janice Greenhalgh.

Janice is one of our true OG members. She’s been with us for well over 10 years, and in that time, she hasn’t just been a member, she’s become part of the foundation of what makes Triumph what it is today.

From day one, Janice has brought something special into every class she walks into. If you’ve ever had the chance to work out alongside her, you already know that she is one of the most friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind people you’ll ever meet. Janice always has a smile, always has a minute to check in, and always has a kind word to share. Whether you’re brand new or have been here for years, she makes you feel like you belong.

That kind of presence is rare and it matters more than most people realize. But don’t let her kindness fool you Janice is also someone who moves incredibly well and trains with purpose every single day.

There’s an intentionality to everything she does. Whether it’s a lift, a workout, or even a warm-up, Janice approaches it with focus, control, and consistency. She knows when to push herself, when to pull back, and when to take a cue from the coach. She’s the kind of athlete who reminds all of us that it’s not just about going hard, it’s about doing things the right way, over and over again. And that’s exactly why she continues to move, feel, and perform at such a high level.

Outside of the gym, Janice’s talents go even deeper. She’s not just fit and healthy, she’s an incredibly gifted piano player and teacher, impacting lives in a completely different way. Just like she does here at Triumph, she brings patience, passion, and care into everything she does. Whether it’s coaching movement or teaching music, Janice has a way of helping people grow. And that’s what makes her truly special.

Now, while we are beyond proud of Janice, this recognition comes with a bittersweet moment for all of us.

Janice will soon be heading to Germany on a religious mission with her husband, and while we couldn’t be more excited for her and the impact she’s going to make, there’s no denying that Triumph won’t be the same without her. The energy she brings, the conversations before and after class, the consistency, the kindness—it’s all going to be missed more than words can fully capture.

But if there’s one thing we know, it’s this: Janice is going to do what she’s always done, show up, serve others, and make the people around her better. And while we’ll miss her deeply, we’ll also be counting down the days until she walks back through those doors again.

Janice, thank you for over a decade of commitment, positivity, and impact. You’ve helped shape this community in ways that will last forever. We love you, we’re proud of you, and we can’t wait to welcome you back home.
